What is reiki? Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. 

Mikao Usui developed reiki in the early 1900s, deriving the term from the Japanese words rei, meaning “universal,” and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Now, reiki is used all over the world, including in hospitals and hospices, to complement other forms of health treatments. Reiki aids in healing by helping people become energetically balanced — physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually The health benefits of reiki Reiki promotes relaxation, stress reduction and symptom relief to improve overall health and well-being. It can: ● Bring on a meditative state. ● Foster tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery. ● Stimulate your body’s immune system. ● Promote natural self-healing. ● Relieve pain and tension. ● Support the well-being of people receiving traditional medical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and kidney dialysis. Studies show that reiki treatment may create feelings of: ● Peace. ● Relaxation. ● Security. ● Wellness. Can reiki replace traditional treatments? No. Reiki treatment should not be used as a substitute for the consultation of a physician or a psychotherapist. Reiki complements other types of medical and therapeutic treatments, and it can increase the efficacy of other types of healing. If you’re already in good health, though, regular reiki treatments can enhance your ability to respond to stress and serve as a form of preventive medicine. What conditions does reiki treat? Because it works on the entire self – mind, body and emotions – and because it is a universal life force energy, reiki may be successful in all types of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing, Reiki isn’t specific to any particular type of disease or condition but may help people with: ● Cancer. ● Chronic pain. ● Infertility. ● Digestive problems. ● Parkinson’s disease. ● Psychological distress, including depression and anxiety. ● Stress-related illnesses. Reiki can also help you prepare for surgery, which may help boost your recovery afterwards. 

How does reiki work? Reiki practitioners act as a conduit between you and the source of the universal life force energy. The energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to you. The patient determines the energy flow from the practitioner’s hands by taking only what they need. This helps the patient know that we are supporting them only in what they need rather than what we think they need. This makes it the perfect balance to meet the patient’s needs.” What happens during a reiki session? Reiki treatments vary in length according to the clients needs.. During a session, you’ll lie on a massage table or sit in a chair fully clothed, as your reiki practitioner gently places their hands, palms down, on or just above your body in specific energy locations. They use a series of different hand positions. The length of time that the practitioner leaves their hands in each position is determined by the flow of energy through their hands at location. Reiki differs from other touch therapies in that there is no pressure, massage or manipulation involved. What does reiki feel like? You may experience the energy in the form of sensations like heat, tingling or pulsing where the Reiki practitioner has placed their hands. Sometimes, people feel sensations moving throughout the body, while other people do not perceive any change at all. Most people feel very relaxed and peaceful during reiki treatment, and many fall asleep during the process. At first this system of healing that arrives with attunements can, on the surface, seem like we are connecting to something outside of ourselves, something new. But slowly we unravel that there is nothing outside. We are not working to channel an external force greater than ourselves; rather, we are becoming who we really are. The Great Bright Light within. You are Reiki. The system provides a simple and profound practice of remembering that you are embodied soul energy. By connecting to the universal intelligence, you can begin to feel the underlying web that is woven through all existence, heal your life and understand the deepest nature of your True Self. Rooted in Buddhist wisdom, this is a pathway of connecting to our inner medicine because it is a means of giving attention to our inner Buddha. This being lives in us all and heals with its very presence. It offers unconditional love and kindness, and sees clearly through compassionate eyes. This awakened inner being loves all it touches. Discovering this aspect of ourselves is the Reiki way – a lifelong journey. It is not just ‘spiritual energy’ as a concept, it is the essence of the Universe that flows through all of life. The essence of ourselves. When we connect through our heart, we discover that our heart is connected to the heart of all things. Spiritual energy is all of the cosmic energy of the formless. We often see Spirit as separate from ourselves, so language points us in this direction even further, yet Spirit is All That Is. Clients often describe it as a warm blanket because it is the blanket of immeasurable space unto which we all exist. What could be more natural? What could be more spiritual? This energy is Source. Reiki comes from within you, the greatest you, the part that remembers not only where you came from, but who you are, right now. You are powerful. You are vast. You are connected. You are unlimited, unbound and unbreakable. This is all so much more dynamic than a complementary therapy, though that is an undeniably beautiful and practical expression of it. Reiki is a deeply spiritual, holistic practice focusing on the wellbeing of the practitioner. Our practice evolves through our years of tenderly getting to know the energy. As our understanding of it broadens, it extends far beyond the time we set aside for personal hands-on healing to control, or aggressively assert healing; we choose instead to indulge in peace. Reiki is everywhere. This is one of the most remarkable things about Mikao Usui’s method: he created a very practical, very approachable, yet very rich spiritual practice which requires no belief and yet provides limitless applications of universal energy through direct experience – from deep personal meditation to healing clients in hospital settings. Practise Reiki meditation and self-healing treatments and Receive the Reiki attunement. It is also a requirement after the attunement that you perform self healing for 28 days to let the attunement energies settle.  Usui Reiki Level 1 Workshop which is a full day workshop gives you in person teaching, Reiki manual and attunement.  Angel Reiki System 

The Angel Reiki System combines Angels and Reiki. The Angels are incorporated into the Reiki attunement, and the Angels are called and requested to assist with the healing. Angel Reiki training is given to those of you wishing to make a deeper connection to the Angelic Realms and to bring about well-being for yourselves as well as others. It is given over three levels allowing for each person to progress at a pace that suits them. Beautiful attunements are given by the Angels unlocking the ability within you to channel the Angels healing energy with ease and grace. One of the key differences between Angel Reiki and the other forms of Reiki is that the healings are done by the Angelic Kingdom of Light. Angel Reiki draws from the Usui and Shamballa Reiki lineages and combines these with powerful transmissions from Archangel Metatron.  Dolphin Trilogy Reiki Dolphin energy and Reiki are very similar, both being filled with rainbow light emitting the vibration of love and joy. Dolphins are adept energy healers and are happy to work with Reiki. Dolphins help to clear energies and activate our light bodies, they also enhance telepathy and intuitive abilities as well.  Sacred Geometry Reiki Sacred Geometry Reiki is a method of healing that can be used with other methods of healing, particularly Reiki. This course will give you suggestions for self-healing and meditation using sacred geometric symbols. 

You will also learn how to use Sacred Geometry with Reiki to heal others.

 The Universe is Vibration, and geometry is vibration which manifest on the visual. This healing system works with your Higher Self at the soul level. The symbols assist you in the clearing and re-patterning process, and in doing so you begin to deal with limiting beliefs. It is a method of enhancing your intuition to receive information and messages from your higher self/soul through geometric codes and symbols. This will assist you in your spiritual progression in line with your soul’s purpose. You will feel more connected and it can bring cohesion to your life. The ancients believed that sacred geometry was essential to the education of the soul. Sacred geometry is all around is, in nature the snowflake and sunflowers are examples, and it can be seen in the shape and decoration of buildings throughout history.

 Celtic knots are a form of sacred geometry that symbolise the interconnectedness of all things, representing the eternal web and continuous cycling of existence. “Sacred geometry can be described as the ‘architecture of the Universe’”. It is the universal language of creation, a blueprint of perfection, which simply means the intended plan or design, that reminds us of who we were and who we are, and can assist us in aligning to our true purpose and life pattern. Each symbol assists in clearing, re-patterning and receiving the soul’s instructions. Intuition is enhanced as you begin to realise that your soul and spirit instruct your mind rather than the other way around. 

The use of the word Reiki to describe this system reflects the use of universal life force energy and many of the techniques come from various interpretations of Reiki traditions. The sacred symbols are used as a vibrational healing technique as well as a focus for meditation. It is primarily a system of spiritual development. The course can help Reiki practitioners to take the next step and increasingly work intuitively. The symbols of Sacred Geometry Reiki are keys to unlock your own knowledge, for all healing knowledge resides within. 

This system aims to empower you to heal either yourself or your clients. The energy and empowerment exercises offer practical ways to tune into your own inner guidance, and will potentially develop your ability to scan the aura and use intuitively guided hand positions, giving you more flexibility in healing work.  Introduction to Crystal Healing Workshop

 Do you love crystals? Would you like to learn how to use them to help you? Are you interested in Crystal Healing? Yes? Well this is a great course as an introduction to the full crystal healing course.. 

I offer a one day workshop where the morning session is spent looking at 5 popular crystals, Clear Quartz, Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Turquoise and Bloodstone. We discuss their healing properties and uses, how to use them for healing and general wellbeing and where to position them on the body. Learn where the crystals come from, their history, origins and where in the world they are found. I will also show you how to look after them, cleansing and recharging them and how to use them to help you concentrate, sleep better at night, for anxiety and to help keep you calm. We explore the best way to practically cleanse and recharge your crystals that can be performed safely at home. 

 We are looking at the different types and shapes of the crystals, for self use and for healing and we are also opening a crystal geode to look inside ! Our experienced tutors will then gently guide you and lead you into a guided visualisation to connect with a crystal and visit the crystal healing caves in Atlantis to optimise your own healing. The afternoon session is a practical crystal healing session where you will participate and feel the energy for yourself experiencing a full Crystal healing treatment. We will also be looking at and exploring two different types of Crystal Oracle cards that can be used after a treatment for guidance. After you have healed the 12 chakras, we then lead you through the five steps which we give you so that you can re-visit if you are having a tough time or need further clarity.

During the course you will be fully supported by your friendly Practitioners and can contact them with any questions or queries you may have.

The Healing Course is IHPM accredited and rigorously tested.

The course is 4 full days and may be taken in a block or at your preferred intervals.

 This Foot Reflexology Course will teach you how to read and interpret the feet using finger/thumb pressure to specific reflexes on the feet that correspond to specific organs and structures of the body to help encourage holistic healing.  The course will teach you everything you need to know to carry out professional treatments to a high standard. A flexible course which allows you to work at your own pace to complete the theory.

one day Indian Head Massage Training Course is ideal for beginners and existing therapists who wish to add this extremely relaxing therapy to their treatment menu.

The aim of Indian head massage is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders…. You will learn all of this on our course as these are the areas that are massaged during the treatment.
